Research-only service
Soléa provides an account-gated catalog of materials offered solely for legitimate laboratory, analytical, and in-vitro research. Nothing on this website is medical, veterinary, diagnostic, prescribing, dosing, treatment, or consumer-use advice.
Products are not offered for human or veterinary use, ingestion, administration, compounding, food, cosmetic, household, recreational, therapeutic, or clinical diagnostic purposes. A label or website statement does not replace the purchaser’s duty to comply with all applicable laws and institutional requirements.
Eligibility and account representations
- You are at least 21 years old and legally capable of entering an agreement.
- You are a qualified researcher or authorized purchaser acting for a legitimate laboratory, institution, or research activity.
- Information supplied to Soléa is complete, accurate, current, and not misleading.
- You will maintain account security and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- You will not purchase for personal use, resale to unqualified persons, diversion, or any prohibited purpose.
Orders and payment
Submitting an order is a request to purchase and is not acceptance by Soléa. Soléa may verify eligibility, availability, destination, payment, or intended research use before accepting or fulfilling an order.
Payment is handled outside the website through the method shown at checkout. Soléa does not collect card or bank-account credentials through solea.bio. An order remains awaiting payment until Soléa confirms receipt.
Prices, availability, lot information, fees, and product details may be corrected before an order is accepted. Soléa may refuse, limit, hold, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary for compliance, safety, suspected misuse, fraud prevention, availability, or operational reasons.
Purchaser responsibilities
- Determine whether acquisition, possession, transport, storage, research, and disposal are permitted in your jurisdiction and institution.
- Maintain appropriate facilities, training, documentation, protective equipment, access controls, and chain-of-custody practices.
- Review labeling and available lot or analytical documentation before use.
- Prevent access by children, patients, consumers, animals, and unauthorized persons.
- Do not make medical, therapeutic, dosing, body-composition, performance, or disease claims about Soléa materials.
Intellectual property and acceptable use
The Soléa name, design, catalog presentation, copy, and site materials are owned by or licensed to Soléa. You may use the site only for lawful evaluation and ordering of research materials. Scraping, credential sharing, security testing without written permission, interference, impersonation, and automated abuse are prohibited.
Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE AND MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” SOLÉA DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NO STATEMENT CREATES A WARRANTY OF RESEARCH OUTCOME, SUITABILITY FOR A PARTICULAR PROTOCOL, OR REGULATORY STATUS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLÉA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOSS OF DATA, RESEARCH, REVENUE, OR OPPORTUNITY; OR UNAUTHORIZED, PROHIBITED, OR IMPROPER USE. SOLÉA’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM AN ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID FOR THAT ORDER, EXCEPT WHERE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.
Suspension and termination
Soléa may suspend or terminate access when account information cannot be verified, these terms are violated, use presents legal or safety concerns, or continued access creates unreasonable risk. Obligations concerning payment, research-only use, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive termination where applicable.
Texas law and changes
These terms are governed by Texas law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent another law must apply. Disputes may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Texas, subject to mandatory consumer rights and jurisdictional rules.
Soléa may update these terms prospectively. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through the site or account experience when appropriate.
